Want to sign up for a cashier shift but aren’t trained? Just review this 15-minute training video on using our system. You’ll find a written guide here, which is also printed out and inside the blue binder underneath the cashiering desk. Once you’ve watched the training video, please email ops@greenehillfood.coop for your log-in PIN.
Outreach Tabling Shift: Outreach tabling is a great position for members who understand and love the Co-op model and want to share that with others. Tablers are set up just outside the Co-op with a table, shade structure, and provided materials. Their task is to: 1) educate people about the power of co-operatives, 2) cultivate a relationship with neighbors, both members and nonmembers, and 3) sign up new co-op members. Ideally, they are working in pairs, but at times they may work alone. Instructions for the task are listed here. Please feel free to reach out to outreach@greenehillfood.coop before your first shift.
Having a hard time finding a make-up shift? Then consider becoming a Shift Leader! The store needs more Shift Leaders, and there are always ample recurring and make-up options available for this position. If interested please reach out to ops@greenehillfood.coop. (Note: for one time make-ups, any member can fill in for an empty Shift Leader slot, as long as they are both cashier trained and FA experienced - just mention this when you respond)
